Tenant Insurance

As your landlord, we are not responsible for, and will not insure, your furniture, vehicles, or other personal belongings located at your home.

We require that you obtain and keep in full force and effect during the entire term of your lease and any extensions, renewals, or periods of holdover, a policy of renter’s insurance. Your insurance policy needs to include an extended coverage endorsement; be underwritten by an insurance company licensed to issue renter’s insurance in the State; be in an amount sufficient to cover the insurable value of your Personal Property located on the Premise; and include liability coverage.

Your Insurance Policy must be in effect on or before the date you take possession of the Premise. Within ten (10) days of the Commencement Date and at any time upon request by Property Manager, you must provide us with evidence of your Insurance Policy,

Landlord Insurance

We carry general liability and hazard insurance on the Premise whereby an insurance policy has been obtained to provide coverage for certain damage to the Premise. As a result, any coverage to insure your personal property must be obtained by you.

Regardless of what insurance policy we maintain, you agree to immediately report any and all damage and potential claims to us and your Property Manager.

You agree to cooperate with any and all inspectors, insurance adjusters, agents or representatives of any insurance company investigating any such claims or damage to your home. You also agree to comply with any and all appropriate requests made by such inspectors, insurance adjusters, agents or representatives regarding any damage to and/or claims affecting your home.
